Cleveland, Ohio – June 6, 2007 – When India wants the most up-to-date business advice, they turn to local leadership expert Timothy H. Warneka, Warneka, author of Leading People the Black Belt Way: Conquering the Five Core Problems Facing Leaders Today, announced a joint agreement between his publishing company, Asogomi Publishing International and Pearson Education India to release his book in India. After a heated bidding war between two publishing companies in India, Pearson won the Foreign Rights in India for Leading People the Black Belt Way. “We are quite happy to have won the bid for such an important leadership book,” reports Sonal Sharma, a representative of Pearson.

While the exact details of the agreement remain confidential, Warneka is also pleased. He founded Asogomi in 2005 after receiving 75 rejection letters from traditional publishing companies. “I feel vindicated,” stated Warneka. “I knew that the message in Leading People the Black Belt Way was one that would benefit leaders around the world. Clearly Pearson Education in India agrees.” Warneka’s book describes The Black Belt Way, a new approach to leadership he created that combines the strength of Emotional Intelligence with the strength of the revolutionary non-violent martial art of Aikido, which Warneka has practiced for 18 years.

Warneka, a licensed clinical counselor and leadership coach, is the president of The Black Belt Consulting Group, an organization that provides leadership coaching and keynotes speaking around the country. “My clients kept asking me to write a book,” states Warneka. He sat down to write and Leading People the Black Belt Way was created. This year, Warneka released his latest book, one that he co-authored with his brother Patrick Warneka, entitled The Way of Leading People: Unlocking Your Integral Leadership Skills with the Tao Te Ching.

Pearson plans on publishing Leading People the Black Belt Way by 2008.
